WOW Cy, I am very impressed you found my site! It's still a work in progress....but should include all my trips at some point.

Hey Cy - Thanks for a real cool thread. A disturbance in The Force on another planet reminded me of it. You've got some real good info here. It's like the index to an AAJ - but better - it lives.

Dumb question: have you ever thought about building this into a database? You have 142 pages of links, the primary fields are all filled out. Tag what's expired, make it easier to search and sort it. That could be a nice resource.

Databases aren't my specialty but I'd be happy to help. You've put together some real good content.

Thanks,
-Joe

That sounds like a great idea Joe. I have no clue on how to do that, but if you would like to help you are very welcome. I like to go back to older websites and check out what adventures they are tackling.

What do you mean by Database? It'd be cool to have this in a list-type format. Something like this maybe...
http://www.summitpost.org/classic-flati ... tes/247637

Then you wouldn't have to keep returning to the same sites. Maybe just a category for those that are continually updated and one for older, abandoned sites. Stuff would be easy to categorize by location. Maybe?

Good idea Brian - Together with Joe you could come up with something

Something like this...
http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.p ... irm_post=7

Only problem is that it would be VERY time consuming. I would imagine that somebody could create (or it already exists) a program to enter or adjust the info and then it would translate it into HTML for you. Anybody know anything like that?

EDIT: Like this...http://html-tables.com/ or this...http://www.textfixer.com/html/html-table-generator.php. Not sure that these would be ideal though.

EDIT #2: Here's a better one...http://www.joomlackeditor.com/demo-test-drive
