I'm in for Sunday. Leaning toward North Twin Cone. We can always tack on Blaine if the day's suffering is insufficient...

For those of us driving down that morning what time should we all meet at the Fourmile TH?

A 7 am start should be sufficient, depending on road closure. Meeting at 6:45 am or so should work. I'll try and see if I can find out where the road closure is.

OK, the time is getting close! Time to get an idea of who is coming.

Saturday

Tonka + 1
SenadR

Maybe:

McCannster
Liba Kopeckova
Kane

Sunday

Sarah Simon

Who else is there for both days?

Weather forecast looks good though it will probably be colder than predicted. The Sherman area forecast always reads to warm:

As of January 5, the road was still clear to Leavick. I haven't been able to find anything more updated than that.

If I'm not going to Ouray this weekend, I'll try to make it.

Yep, looking at Sheridan and Sherman on Saturday, or Sheridan and Horseshoe if a group is going that way. I mostly want Sheridan so I can have a Bi-Cent in January, one of only 3 months I have never been up a Bi-Cent in.

Tonka: Are y'all good with North Twin Cone (12er out of Kenosha Pass)? Lemme know. Looking at 7:00 AM start time. (Gotsta allow ample time for recovery from beer-related injuries Saturday evening...)

Oh, are we meeting someplace Saturday evening for supper/re-hydration?

Sen, what's your Sunday plan? Liba?

I possibly might be in for a short climb Sunday as well.

Anyway, so who might be camping? I'm wondering if I should leave fairly late Friday and just go to sleep Friday or if I should leave around 2:30 PM and bring a bunch of firewood.

PS, I'll mention now that I am taking my 10 year old, just so it isn't a surprise that might bother someone.

There may be a possibility of 2-3 more. I didn't realize a group was heading up to the Sherman area till my online boredom set in yesterday. I will be heading up Quandary on 1/16/13 around 8am if anyone wants to get a "warm-up" climb in.

I'm planning on climbing some ice at Lincoln Falls on Friday, and was just going to sleep in my car at Leavick on Friday night. I'd be down to camp somewhere too.

My plan is to meet up at the TH at 7am on Sat as just a day trip from my house.

Dave- Sheridan first or second doesn't really make a difference to me, I guess we can figure it out Saturday based on if anyone else wants to head over that way or not.
