Deb - I am curious which Horsetail Falls you have in mind. Not the ones off of Hwy 50 at Twin Bridges?

All right, I thought I was going nuts. I've never seen the Tahoe ones frozen.

Wait for colder weather!! They're falling apart at Roadside and Horsetail.

HAHA! I work 5 days a week, ya know. Difficult to find buddies to climb ice mid-week, I can only solo so much before my number comes up. :? Can't wait for this biatch to close down so I can exist on "fun"employment all summer!

Any word on how the ice in the Whitney area is holding up? I was thinking of heading up to the falls near UBSL later next week.

Oh so sorry that you must work 5 whole days a week right now and can't find partners on your off days. More sorry for the taxpayer who gets to pay for your summer downtime, what a joke of a system. :!:

Sorry that Deb did 20 something years in the Marine Corps which includes 2 "COMBAT" tours in Iraq and endured more shit in those two tours than most here on SP combined in their life times ever will, all to for you!

Now that truly is a joke of the entire system here in the good ole US.

She earned it and more than deserves it.

Chief, Y you always take 1/10 bait???

P.S. I am shitting "right now"

And I thank her for her valuable service. And for such service I am sure she is receiving a pension. Her previous military service does not change my problem with the exploitation of the unemployment system.

Are you kidding me?! I have NEVER been on unemployment and you want to bash me for it? WOW! I'm not exploiting anything, it's standard after seasonal employment while I look for another job....IF I want to. Go have a glass of wine and soak in a hot tub dude.

Deb is being attacked for having a job?
Or for it having an expiration date?
Possibly having a pension?
For following the rules of the tax systems she pays into and getting benefits when she is supposed to?

Maybe we should make fun of sick people for taking advantage of using their health insurance?

Good grief!

Chief is right about LVC, although I'm interested to see how he knows. He either did some crazy stealth ninja stuff, or he's either smaller than I thought and we didn't notice him. We climbed there all weekend, big stuff coming off main wall right side, and chouinard was melting fast, beyond today I don't know that I'd climb anything on that besides dead center of the falls
