Download CineForm Studio from gopro.com it's free. I haven't used it yet but It seems like a good deal.

the most popular people are using today is called Gopro Video Editor. You can have it on Windows and Mac OS X. good luck. You may also try:

1. AVS Video Editor
2. Windows Movie Maker
3. Video Editor Pro

I use magix movie editor. It is highly customizable. It takes time to learn but once you get the basic knowledge, you can't use anything else.

If you want free, you should use CineForm Studio to convert GoPro video to AVI format for Windows Movie Maker... I don't know any other decent free video editor for Windows :(
All have some limitations or bottlenecks. But I know plenty of cheap and good video editors on the market:

1. AVS
2. Movavi
3. Magix Videoeasy (though I recommend their Movie Edit Pro)

+plus for avs4you gopro editor, a winner combination for Gopro with this editing program. As it says you can create great home video without video editing experience. Simple cut, join, add music, transitions, effects, titles and burn to DVD.

we don't need a list of expensive and superlative things. we need a household editing software that works even better. Remember the name AVS4YOU Video Editor. You can use ALL its software with the same serial number without additional fees and limitations. Do the maths:-)
