Gear found on Round Top

by fruitflyman » Wed Apr 24, 2013 9:39 pm

I found an abandoned camp near the summit of Round Top - stove, sleeping pad, some other stuff. I tried to recover everything I could, but there may be more under ice. If it's yours, please describe what it was, and let's see how we can get it back to you.

I'm really interested in confitions of couloir and surrounding snow. Which route did you take?

I climbed the couloir on Sunday and North Ridge today. Both routes are in great shape for climbing right now. The couloir may be too firm for skiing - there were tracks that indicated skiers in survival mode.

HAHA!! I'm not that good a skier! Just want a climb and ski the saddle between RT and Sisters. Thanks!
