I'm wondering if any of you had any advice on this, but it seems like my feet, more like my toes are always freezing when I'm sleeping. The rest of my body will be fine in the sleeping bag, but my toes are always super cold. I had a couple people tell me its because I sleep with clothes on and your suppose to sleep close to naked to warm the bag up.

Happens to me. I sleep with my clothes on too (as you should unless you want to bring a bag that is warmer and heavier than you need too). If you have anything extra (I usually have my shell which I don't like to sleep in) then just toss that in the bottom of the bag and snuggle your feet into it. Often that is enough. Also I put on a couple pairs of socks.

Fill a water bottle with hot water and put it in the foot of the sleeping bag.

Sleeping naked is only warmer if you have someone else in the bag with you!

I used to have that problem too. Then I started bringing my negative 20 bag. Suddenly I got much better sleep in cold weather.

Perhaps obvious but are you keeping your head warm when you sleep, either by cinching the drawstring at the top end of the bag which closes the semicircle of insulated material into a hood around your head, or wearing a warm hat, or both? As you probably know, if your head gets cold your body conserves heat by cutting blood flow to extremities. It could just be that you need a warmer bag (or wear more layers in your bag) to keep your body core and head warmer.

Also obvious, but are you using a 3/4 length pad, and if so are you putting anything under your feet to keep them off the snow or ground (pack, spare clothes,...)?

I put 8-hour handwarmers between two pair of socks at a Himalyan high camp & was able to warm my feet & sleep.
