Does anyone know where this photo was taken?.....

by CaseyW » Thu May 02, 2013 5:28 pm

I am doing some location scouting for a film shoot and I am wondering what specific location this is in. The photo is from Outdoor Researchs' website in the "Gaiters" section

I wrote to Outdoor Research as well, hopefully I will hear back from them if they even know.

Thought I would post it here to see if any expert / trained eyes can spot where / what mountain range it was taken in.

Awesome, thanks everyone for helping with the location. I think the Pickets looks as close as they can get to matching the photo.

I am pretty sure I can come up with an exact location if you really need. I just need to sort through a few photos. Send me an email if you need something more exact.

I climbed Mt. Fury (from a camp in Luna Saddle) and looking over at the Southern Pickets, I would have to agree. It almost feels like you can see part of the McMillan Spires (kind of).

You guys are way off. I knew it couldn't be the Cascades. Nothing fit right.

So I asked my friend Sergio and he suggested some places, including the Waddington area. And that's where it is!...
