Rainier end of July

by db » Tue Jun 18, 2013 7:54 pm

Looking for a partner or group to join to do Mt Rainier. I am somewhat flexible and can be there from the 20th to the beginning of August. I've done a bunch of 14ers in CO and CA but don't have much experience on glaciers. Thx, Dave

I'm also looking to join a Rainier climbing team. I have 46 high points; 3 to go. I'm not doing Denali. There is a full moon on July 22. I don't anticipate anyone falling into a crevasse; however, accidents can and do occur and we need to be prepared. I would prefer to have an experienced climber teaching us a few things before summit day. Drop me an email if interested. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I'm interested in this as well. I have some glacier experience and will get considerable more between now and end of July. I also have crevasse rescue experience and can lead a rope team if required. Rainier is really on my list for this summer.

Would love to nail down the details sooner rather than later. Feel free to email/PM me for details. I'll also be interested in a regular partner for easy/moderate climbs in and around WA.

Is there room for 1 more on this? I've climbed Rainier a couple of times before and would like to get on another climb. I'm a little rusty on crevasse rescue, but I've got glacier experience. PM or email me. Thanks.
