650 Millimorts

Kind of wonder what the risk of riding a motorbike to the trail head to climb a mountain to go paragliding is. But hey, if anyone asks you how dangerous climbing is? You now have an answer. 650 millimorts.

I'm a bit skeptical of the 8,000 m statistic. The last 10 or so years has seen a high volume of people on Cho Oyu and Everest getting up and down relatively safety and would have though this would have skewed the overall figure down from 1 in 40.

Seems to me he got his unit wrong; one death per million should be a micromort.
