The pop up ads are killing my iPad experience. Please stop them.

I do have Safari set to block pop-ups but the site has a red banner ad that pops up from the bottom. Please stop this.
The real point here is that the site should not have pop up ads - not whether users have their browser settings correct.

Did you check the box for 'Minimal Ads' on your profile? I have an iPad and never get any popups.

I have the "normal" ads button checked, yet never see the banner in Chrome on a Windows machine. Perhaps Chrome just has a better ad blocker.

Donno, the owners of the site have to pay for it somehow.

What does the red banner ad say? Is there a chance it is not coming from this site, but from some other service?

I think I got one once or twice from the forum ads. Now let's just hope the sound ads don't return.

Donno, some of us were trying to stay on topic, but you didn't give us a lot to work with. If we had known you had multiple tabs open in the same browser at once, we would have seen a red flag.
