After bagging Mount Elwell on Saturday, I managed to place my GPS and camera on the roof of my Jeep and then drive off, leaving them somewhere between the Long Lake TH and the Bay Area. Just realized it this morning and can't ditch work to make the 8 hr trip to look for them.

If you were at the Long Lake TH on Sunday and found them, I would greatly appreciate and fund their return.

i once changed out my new/1 week old nikon 24 2,8 af d lens into its box and left on roof and drove 5 miles of gravel road near moab.I only knew i did this because when i got out of the jeep it was still on the roof miraculously!!!!!!
