The Twelve Bens Connemara Ireland

Postby mallowman » Tue Apr 01, 2014 11:07 am

Last weekend I was lucky enough to visit The Twelve Bens in Connemara. For mountains of a very modest height they pack a big punch. If you have never had the chance to visit I would really recommend them. Here is a link to my account of the trip, enjoy http://howlingmist.blogspot.ie/2014/04/ ... emara.html :D

Thanks for the trip report. I visited the park about five years ago and only did some modest hiking (as I was with my 70 year old mom) but would love to go back and climb the Bens - it's a very spectacular area.
