Kind of a Hail Mary, here, but: I've got a 2-person day permit & plan to do the mountaineers route this thurs 8/21. My partner has bailed, so I have an open slot. I just dayclimbed the main trail in 7 hrs up, 7 down on July 28; I'm new to the MR. I plan to drive from the SF bay area Mon PM or Tue AM & camp at ravine cg, then do some recon on the Eb ledges & hike to meysan or cottonwood lakes as warm-up. E-mail cantare at gmail if interested.
