Much to learn from their gear list. Thanks for posting. I'm finally reading Enduring Patagonia by Crouch, fast becoming a favorite of mine.

Colin Haley and Andre Leclerk climbed Cerro Torre -- Directa de la Mentira

Cerro Torre - Directa de la Mentira -- http://pataclimb.com

Colin Haley and Marc-André Leclerc, the two fittest and hungriest men here at this moment, "the unstoppable two", just did the first "complete" (bottom to top) ascent of the north face of Cerro Torre climbing El Arca to the "Col de la Mentira", to then climb six new pitches up a beautiful line parallel and to the left of the north ridge, joining back with El Arca on the last four pitches of the north face, reaching the Via dei Ragni and the summit. They called their line Directa de la Mentira. This comes barely a week and some days after they completed the first ascent of La Travesía del Oso Buda. They are on fire!!
