California Condor in Pinnacles National Park. The dark head is characteristic of a juvenile. It's very cool that this is not such an unusual sighting. Pinnacles is a designated release point for these birds which, in the eighties, numbered only 22 in the entire world. Now there are several hundred of these magnificent birds in various habitats around the southwest.

River otter last week in Wyoming was my first sighting of one. Plenty of nuisance black bears throughout the SE. Large alligators in the Everglades. Got chased by an alligator on Sapelo island once. Still have a lot on the Top Predator bucket list.

Dear Jorge, I just signed up into this site. I have read several items in the site but it is geared toward the more serious hiker/climber. I wanted to inquire where to go, possible on the web, to find trails and such around Breckenridge, that are more casual walking type trails and not so much climbing or tough for older guys like me. I am heading up next week to Breck and seeking out trails for daily walks in the mountains.

In the event you are aware of where I might go to read about, please advise. Thank you in advance for your response, Truly, Wes Herndon
