Html page insertion

by Roger » Sun Aug 30, 2015 2:31 pm

HI
For the life of me I cannot get the below to work so it just displays the clickable text.
Please what am I doing wrong with the code?

Sure I may be biased but if you want the best local Tanzanian climbing company for Kilimanjaro then ask Anne-Marie Flammersfeld who chose <a href="https://trekili.com"></a> to undertake her 3 day Umbwe route acclimatisation prior to her speed record. Anne-Marie also posted a nice review on <a href="http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g297913-d6509249-Reviews-Trekili_Eco_Expeditions_Day_Tours-Arusha_Arusha_Region.html">“Trekili is perfect for any kind of adventure!”</a>

Try this:

Sure I may be biased but if you want the best local Tanzanian climbing company for Kilimanjaro then ask Anne-Marie Flammersfeld who chose <a href="https://trekili.com">trekili</a> to undertake her 3 day Umbwe route acclimatisation prior to her speed record.

You need to add the word "trekili in between the <a> tags

Are you talking about on a regular page (eg., mountain page) or in the discussion forum?

Ordinary HTML doesn't work in the forums, you need to use BBCode.

There's a set of buttons above the text box you type in, look for the "URL" button (10th from left).

It'll generate a set of URL tags:
Code: Select all
[url][/url]

edit according to this template:
Code: Select all
[url=URL GOES HERE]anchor text goes here[/url]

e.g.:
Code: Select all
[url=http://www.davidalbeck.com]my personal website[/url]

becomes:
my personal website

Notice you don't need any quotes
