I've been trying to cut down on the time required to drive to the mountains lately. Maybe I'll get a winter trip to Whitney in now.

In these difficult economic times this clearly a convert attempt by the map making industry to Reunite Gondwanaland. First Mt Whitney then before you know it....poof...we have to go out and buy all new maps.
