Hot and heavy all through the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne this past weekend.

But then again, the rattlers were out in full force, as well... :o :o :o

They were out in the forested areas between 10k and 11k near Tioga Pass- but not unbearably so.

Nothing above the treeline tho.

Annoying but not terrible around the Meysan lakes this past weekend.

They were out around South Lake, but not up at Bishop Pass and above. There were some around the junction of Saddlebag and Tioga Road/120. As many have said, not too bad as far as numbers and aggression. I didn't need netting or repellent.
