Very nice shots!
I'm more of a skier myself, in fact never been on a board and most-likely never will, but still, very nice pics. Great shot on the ridge. Winter, yah, gotta love it.

Winter here still, (or, a second blast of it-wait, where was the first?), in Portland and the Cascades. Mountains getting totally dumped on. Pow up to your eyeballs. I, unfortunately, am not up there. But, I did go for a high hike this last weekend, and hit lots of snow at around 3800'. Which now, with this latest cold blast, is down to about 1500'. Lotta snow.

Cold.
Lovely.
Winter.

Well never say never! I skied for 30 some odd years, and then made the switch. Best thing I ever did. I never was very good in the powder on skis, but boy can I ride that deep stuff now. Targhee is known for it's big dumps, and I was there earlier this year when we got 31 inches in 1 day. wOw. The views of the big peaks ain't too shabby either!

I have done a little BC this year, but I am limited to the areas where there is an established boot track, I need some $ for a splitboard, but it's just not in the budget at this time.

Targhee is one resort that allows up hill traffic when not in operation. Did that pre-season and had an absolute blast. Post-season looks to be just as good, if not better.

Those log rail jumps were badass... 8)

It is right under the lift, so you have the extra pressure of everyone yelling crap at you....

"Send it!!"

"Drop It!!"

'Come on dude, let's see it!!"

No one else had the balls to do it, so Trent said "DROPPING!!" Whoosh, about 8 inches of snow on it from the day before went flying everywhere. Boom! Hit the ground about 15 vert feet below the log and rode it out to copious amounts of whistling and clapping...

Tate came next and rode it to the end....damn! His landing a white mess, but he popped up and exited gracefully...also to some loud applause....

They rock....

Oh, and that smile? Here it is....

It's soon going to be winter again in UK. Early Arctic snaps (schnapps, would be better) already blasted the country. I reckon another big one arriving in the new year. And I reckon the same for Northern US States.

Excuse me, but WHO in their right mind would want to visit Idaho or the northern US this time of
year, when the winds are blowing up a storm ???

I'm going to hang out in cozy Arizona. Questions ???
