House, Anderson and Prezelj back in town: Bad Boys of the Golden Ice Axe ready for
K6,(Baltistan Peak 7,281m).
Last year Pakistani authorities issued no K6 permits for security reasons. K6 has only been climbed two times before. Its yet unclimbed, spectacular north face is a tempting challenge for climbers, especially those wanting to open difficult new routes on lower Pakistan peaks. The American team hoped to climb K6, (Baltistan Peak 7,281m)This year 2007 House applied again, and now it looks that he will get to lead the US-Slovenian K6 expedition to the peak. together with two other partners.

As far as I know, no Summitposter made it to any summit in the Karakoram this season.
