Jerez shuts down. It's been raining a lot from mid December, also in the provinces of Jaén, Málaga, Cádiz (where is Jerez de la Frontera), Huelva, Badajoz and Cáceres. Some rain quantities for 2 months are similar to those of an average year now

Yep, even coastal western Europe has had quite a bit of snow (it's usually more like 3 days a year).

Arizona has had decent snowfall. We had a 6 foot dump about a month back, a 2 ft dump a month before that and about 2 or 3 1 ft dumps ( and suppose to get a 1 foot dump this weekend, which is messing up my rock climbing plans but I'll have to ski early Monday morning like at 5am, before work. )
