The list of possible post offices to close includes several along the Appalachian Trail. News article here:

Just wondering, are there a lot of post offices along the CDT or Colorado trail? Seems like those two travel much more remote areas than the PCT or AT.

I don't think there's much in the way of a grocery store. Otherwise you're going to have to carry everything you need from Stratton to Monson, which is like 80 miles


Wow, BFD! I'm sorry, but if you can't handle 80 miles without resupply, perhaps long-distance backpacking isn't meant for you!
