Hi all,

I'm going to the Pyrenees next saturday for a week with a couple of mates. Our aims are Posets and Aneto and hopefully another peak as well. I'm looking for weather and avalanche reports for that area, can anyone provide me with a link?

Cheers,

Carl.

Carl, go here / Novedades (left) / Información nivológica y riesgo de aludes Pirineo aragonés y navarro (below). Now the risk is high (3 or more) above 2.400 m

Hey Carl,

Good luck with your trip...I would be interested in hearing your feedback/ seeing some pics on here; as I plan a similar trip for later in the year / either May-June or Sept... Cheers & Hasta la Vista, David.

Take care Carl, as you've could read the risk of avalanches on the high mountains is rather high

Pyrenees were excellent. Poor weather on monday (one of our summit days) cost us a day but on tuesday had an enjoyable day up Aragúells (3030m), a peak on the ridge leading up to Maldito and the higher summits on the Aneto massif. Very beautiful place, we were almost alone the whole time- look forward to going back for longer than a week. Will upload some photos when I'm back in malaga- thanks for the info.

It's nice that you enjoyed it Carl, now put your summit log and add pics please. So don't you have too much snow on the upper sections :?: I think that's the SE face

I figure that you haven't noticed that Pico de Aragüells is in SP since 2005
