Hello,
if you like Dolomites and Mozart you like a DVD titled “Mozart and the Dolomites”. It is a stunning and original time accelerated film done over a period of five years in over 100 locations in the Dolomites by Jean-Charles Cuillandre utilising the very latest custom-built high resolution digital still technology. The DVD sets a new standard for combinations of beautiful images with classical music.
I was lucky to meet Jean-Charles Cuillandre two years ago (July 2004) at the Rifugio Re Alberto under the Vajolet towers. In that occasion, in front of a good glass of wine, he spontaneously took its lap-top and showed to few lucky people and to me what he was preparing. That evening was fantastic, as well as the film in progress !!
If you are interested look at the “official site” or to the first article review available and
and for the Italian people the only retail site in Italy. In a forum the creative process is illustrated in detail.

Interesting idea. For me the music seems a bit somber my preference would be the string trio in E flat: Divertimento K563 8)
