Lodging in Oslo

I will be in Oslo on Dec 27th. Does anyone have any hotel recommendations near the center of Oslo? I'm looking in the 300 to 400 NOK (Norwegian Krones) price range or ~ 35 to 50 euros.

You might find some hostels in that range. Maybe. Oslo is expensive.

I stayed at Cochs Pensjonat one weekend when I locked myself out of my house (don't ask!) which was decent enough. Ellingsens Pensjonat is supposed to be excellent and slightly cheaper I think.
