I don't know why Mrzla gora page was purged. Anyway, it was poor and its owner vili was last active more than a year ago. Any proposal?

I'd like to meet you.

Thanks Borut, that would be great. We almost met last year.
Better chance in summer though, looks like I'm not gonna have enough free days this winter in the new job...

I wonder how whoever purged (deleted) even got aware of this page. Do they check out the whole site, take a look at every single page?

 Looks like you're lucky today as I happen to know the Mrzla Gora tale. It got on my list the other week while I was trying to clean up an SP area in and around EC Europe, at the same time comparing what pages for different countries look like. A Gora caught my eye easily as in Polish mountain translates as góra. So, playing a beater for the Elves, I put it on one of my lists. And an elf felt like sending an arrow. That’s that.

A nice day here as well. Plus, talking of the mountains, it looks like most of the September snow has just gone.
Have a nice concert!

It's great to have a job you love doing. I hope you've been having a good time, although not on Mrzla gora.

I gave it a thought.
I do my job. And I get paid for it in euros. Love! Love and hate. Passionate, maybe. I think the dogs pulling London's sledge also loved their job, and hated it.
BK
BTW, I jist came back from Mrzla gora.

:D
BTW A little quiz: Which of these do you hate most?
1 Euros
2 Playing an instrument which is not your fav
3 Playing music when you're not feeling like it
4 Playing some music you don't like
5 Playing when you're not on Mrzla gora
6 Playing when you're not on Planjava
:?:

Well yats, you'll first have to tell me more about yourself.
In terms of background, education...

This place is about mountains. And I am qualified, certified...

How qualified are you to ask me such questions?
What I respect are facts of climbing. That's what we are talking about, here. No white collar BS.

Yats, I don't think you're a Polish Messner or so, so please take it easy.

BK

Boruta,
I am taking it easy - to make sure, I was just joking :D
I think you are taking it easy/joking too but I must admit I'm not sure. So are you? I thought you felt like talking but if I was mistaken, and you only want to talk to Messners, it's OK with me. I'm just a scrambler and proud of it.

What a relief!
:D  :D

1 The "owner" inactive for over two years now – lost interest in SP (if hasn't crossed the heaven's door yet). In either case he's one of the few who's not likely to commit suicide.
1a Prices/links (well, there's just one link) may have changed too

2 The overview may be good enough for an album, but IMO just a couple of lines saying that there's nice views is it's not enough to get certified  to be proudly :D named "SP mtn/rock" page. Actually, I'd be in favour of another rule  - saying that an overview must contain at least, say, a dozen dozens aka gross aka 144 words (about twice as much as the old Mrzla gora page)

3 Pieces like "some knowledge and experience of climbing" or "not hospitable peak: reasons are different (bad conditions, dangerous climbing, not secured path…)" tell a hiker/climber virtually nothing at all. Personally, relying on the text, I'd never have guessed what you've just written:
borutb wrote:The Mrzla gora standard is maybe the toughest in its category.

BTW Have you seen mvs’s comments on US/EU scrambling and climbing?

4 Routes, campsite – why write this, it's just the names. If there's no real info, no links – I'd buy myself a map anyway, I'd like some real help so that I have more free time for fun. :D

5 I thought some Slovenian SP'ers might like to have the fun of creating a page for a peak they like

6 Personally, I usually find it easier to write my own text than correct/extend a text like this. Now I think maybe the best solution is turning such pages into albums.

Would you now propose such a solution to the deleting moderator?

Such things have already been done - just recently Eric Visentin asked Bob to turn the Rohace area page into an album.

Mybe this mountain is dangerous, bad conditions, not secuerd paths and out of standard list of another marked and secured hikes.

Thanks. Beethoven 5th and the tough one of Bartok's piano concerti.
Surely you mean the 2nd concerto? Who was the soloist?

BTW: Climbing in the Mrzla gora/Kaltenberg south face. The direct (FA: F.Knez) is here presented in Marko Prezelj's mountain guide association photo gallery.

Very nice route indeed

Slightly off-topic:

Anybody have an idea where the "Lipicko Brezno" cave might be in Slovenia? Or what the other names for the cave are?

It does not appear under http://e-kataster.speleo.net/v2/index.php

thanks

Update: found some info here http://www.fsz.bme.hu/mtsz/barlang/4tin ... pisko1.htm under the name "Lipisko Brezno"
