Rowing is a great and beautiful sport and whatever we can say about Bled, with or without tourists, watching world rowing champs in Bled can only be gorgeous experience ! I don't know many bodie of water entitled to host major events and located in such scenic place, except perhaps

Speaking of Triglav,
today is 80 years since the first Slovenian feature movie
In the Realm of Goldenhorn
had premiere film screening, on August 29th 1931
In the grand hall of the Grand Union Hotel in Ljubljana

Yup, sweet flying!

One sees them leaving from the Ceska koca hut and make the ascent to the Grintovec summit.
First flight down to Jezersko.
Next, one sees them crossing from the Ceska koca hut to the Kranjska koca hut (that's where the chopper leaves from).
From there they went up to Ledinski vrh's summit and flew down again to Jezersko.

Thanks borut. Looks like those mountains have some signifigant elevation gain from the valleys.

Hello,
Me and a friend would like to reach Triglav's Kredarica hut (and possibly summit) starting from the Tolminka Valley.
This summer we saw signs showing Triglav at a a distance of 12 hours, can anyone give me more info on the actual route to take? also we would like to go on skis.
Does anyone know the conditions of snow in the area? any parts that are dangerous? We are looking for something long, exhausting, but not extreme...
Hvala
