Elbrus Normal Route Approach?
Posted: Fri Jul 12, 2013 4:13 pmHey. We are a couple of guys going to Elbrus on Sunday. We will have our own tent and will be going up the normal route. Alltought we do not want to take the lifts up, and are wondering about a different approach instead of just walking below the lift on the road.
Is there any other realistic approach? From Azua, then sleep in tent somwhere around 3500m and next day move to Barrels area.
