I was able to land a great job in CO and moved here back in September. I admittedly let the resort skiing get out of control, but have an itch to get out on some easy stuff and swing some tools. Since I'm new to the area, I'm not sure what's in and where best to go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm trying to keep the driving to under 2 hrs.

Thanks!
Jon

How about 40 minutes? If you're looking for a good place to start, check out the Silverplume ice on the north side of I-70. Really good place for beginners and easy to get to.

Silver plume is great. There's also Clear Creek canyon, up 6th Ave towards Blackhawk, Big Thompson Canyon west of Loveland, and Officers Gulch off I-70 just past Frisco.

Thanks for the suggestions. Any idea of the ice in Clear Creek Canyon is still in?
