Sneffels
Posted: Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:03 pmMy wife and I had been planning on climbing Sneffels (lavender col) with our 6 month old daughter on either the weekend of June 24-26 or July 1-3, but it looks like there'll still be a lot of snow in the area. I guess there's no chance that Lavender call will be snow free by then? I'm in Telluride for a meeting both those weekends and we want to climb something. Can anyone recommend some south-faceing slope (Class 3 and lower) somewhere within maybe a 2 hour drive? Do the La Sal's have anything interesting?
