I just noticed Aaron's Emerald and Iowa peak page was one of the pages that was deleted in case anyone is interested in re-creating these. I know something about them, and climbed them, but I don't have any photos to contribute.

Great catch, I'll update the list. Maybe you can collaborate with someone (or a couple folks) who have photos while you build out the content?

Also, just my 2-cents, but since Emerald is a Colorado Centenial and Iowa is soft ranked, it would be cool to see them split out into two pages. :geek: I'm somewhat of a geek when it comes to good peaks getting dissed by sharing SP real estate with a neighbor. ;)

Sarah,
I'll go ahead and take Golden Horn.

Thanks for stepping up and keeping this all so organized!

I think it's a bit of a shame, because I don't think I would do as good a job as Aaron did with Emerald & Iowa. I shared many of his sentiments which were expressed on his page regarding that part of the Sawatch. I always thought these two might deserve their own pages; maybe partially since I hiked both of them?

Anyway, I'd be happy to help someone with these, or if there aren't any takers, create them from scratch hoping someone else would be generous enough to donate some photos, when I find the time.

Hi Woodie. I've added you as "tentative" for both of these peaks b/c you don't sound like you're ready to dive right in. :) If you're worried about time commitments, maybe just take one of the two and someone else can take the other. ??? Also, as far as finding photos for higher profile peaks like this one...I'm sure you can search "Images" on SP and come up with plenty of photos. I have leveraged other's photos, with credits of course, on numerous pages for numerous reasons: Their pictures are better than mine; I've adopted an older page and there's no use in me uploading duplicates of images already out there, etc. I just credit the photographer right in the "picture box," e.g. "Ouzel Falls, RMNP | Woodie Hopper."

Kiefer Thomas has Wilson Peak, Mt Wilson and El Diente. I have Capitol Peak.

Last week was terribly busy for me in terms of playing catch up with school and moving. This week isn't much better. However, I intend to start working on The Wilson's and El Diente this weekend.
Aaron did a great thing for SP. It's tragic to see him go. But as Jean luc Picard once said, "All good things..."
Happy trails, Aaron. You will be missed.

Sarah,

That sounds great. I'm happy to do it. I should have some time available for this this upcoming weekend.

Danm...sorry Woodie...I didn't realize you were working on the Emerald/Iowa Pages. I am about to finish those.

As for the San Juan Range page...I am working very hard on that page. If anyone has any input the'd like to give please let me know. I really want that one to be fantastic.
Sneffels page is done

Nice work, Matt, and thanks for the update. I'll revise our tracker on the front page accordingly!

Sarah...the Southwest Ridge Route of Sneffels still needs to be added to the list of missing in action.

I've started my work on Golden Horn...but it's been a busy week at work. It's supposed to rain most of this weekend so hopefully I can get some time to finish it.

I was going to say that Fuller Peak (San Juans) was still in the Orphanage, but it looks like Matt has picked that up.
