Rob

I wish you speedy recovery. It seems like you just got done recovering. But I'm sure you will be out climbing and chasing llamas in no time.

Best wishes

Jason and family.

my thinking too.
Wish you a quick & complete recovery Rob!!

Me three. As I clicked on the link, I was thinking "please be OK!" Although accidents suck, and recovery can be brutal, it's much better than the alternative.

I hope the next headline we read is "Rhyang has made a complete recovery, and met the llama of his dreams"

Heal quick!

I saw Rob tonight. Got to meet Vladislav, too. He brought Rob the printout of this thread and I'm sure it'll be a great encouragement to Rob to read all the posts and know how much people here care about him.
I was very happy to see him doing well, much better than on Friday night (we got there right after the surgery). The difference was amazing and I wish him and hope for a speedy recovery.

Just went to see Rob. Considering what he's been through, he is doing OK. He had his dinner when I was there. It was a relief to see him being able to eat that turkey sandwich by himself without help from the nurse. It will be a long recovery process for him and our encouragement and help are quite essential. I printed out this forum with the wishes for speedy recovery from all of you and read it to him. He was touched to hear all those warm words.
Rob, you have a hell of a climb ahead of you. Climb on my friend!
P.S. Kris, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Rob always seemed like a reasonable guy. I don't normally do best wishes -- I fear being maudlin and insincere -- but in this case my heart goes out to him.

When I complete a solo trek, I phone my wife and say --"Now for the dangerous part -- driving home".

I wish you a speedy recovery. And while you are resting, sing the llama song and all will be better.

Having barely recovered from a bad injury myself that required a long recuperative period, this was heartbreaking to hear. I know how hard it is to take the time off to heal and be away from the activities you love. Rob, I hope you heal fast, so you can get back on the rocks and get back to doing what you love!!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
