Although I didn't get a chance to formally meet you Rob as we passed each other on BCS over a week ago, I wish you the best in your recovery and hope to eventually run into you again in the mountains and have some time to chat! Good luck and rest up.

Hey Rob,
Sorry bro, I tried hard but could not stop by on Sunday. I was delayed on my climb and only got home after 2am :(
I will try to make it over there later this week. If they give you access to phone, call me. Nurse should have passed you all my info on Friday.

Stay positive and heal up! You will be swinging tools before you know it!! :)

Just remember ROB:

What doesn't kill you, will only just make you that much stronger!

Look at this as just a test to see if you really want it bad enough.

Motor up cause the Llamas are a calling.

My prayer's are and will be with you that the Great Buddha strengthens you beyond means you never thought possible through all this!

Heard about this in Bishop when Kris called me Saturday morning :( . Thinking of you Rob, & you're in my prayers. This is just a (larger) hurdle in life- clear it & hit the ground running on the other side!

just FYI for those who were planning to go see Rob in the hospital -- they may be moving him to Santa Clara hospital sometime this week so call Modesto before you go to make sure he is still there.

I heard from a friend this morning about his accident. I don't know Rob, but it's hard to miss him anytime you're on SummitPost. Sometimes life throws you some major hurdles and it seems he has had more than his share. My heart goes out to him and I hope he quickly heals with full mobility.

We were headed to Tioga to climb Dana Couloir on Friday, when Tina called to tell us the news. Both Deb and I went numb....only hearing just a bit of this dark news. Don't know what to tell you what was going on in my head!

Anyway, here's to a speedy recovery and loads of heartfelt well wishing Rob! Chin up brother!!

Hang in their Rob. I fully expect you to be back on the mountains leading bigger, badder routes. I'm sending positive vibes your way. Take care and I"ll see you soon.

Hey Rob,
This sucks but I'm sure you'll be back sooner than you think. Keep those tools sharp. Canmore's a-calling!
