I believe I still owe you a "victory climb" in Yosemite or Tollhouse or where ever .. (anywhere except Pinnacles actually ;) )

Aw, it is just beginning to cool down, which means the Pinnacles season is starting. :)

I'm just glad you are doing ok Rob.

That car had zero headroom when you got done with it. You would have to be these guys height to sit in it when I saw it !!

Holy shit, Rob. Jeez. No wonder it took you awhile to face those photos. . .
Glad you're still with us. Glad you're climbing again, which is amazing, eh? Good for you for still having the desire, and making the effort to get out there again. Damn.
Good for you, man.

Bumping to prevent the thread from being purged out of the forums.

When I think of where I was three years ago today, it reminds me of how important my friends are. Facebook and the internet have cheapened the meaning of the word "friend" -- I'm talking about the people who I climbed with and helped me through the bad times. I will never forget you !

Kris, may your new family be happy and healthy !
Craig & Carolyn, you deserve every bit of happiness in the universe :D
Gene, I want to see trip reports on supertopo dammit ;)
Dan, I hope your photography business takes off !
Steve, you are just badass. What else to say ??
Matthew, I am sorry about Matthes Crest. Eichorn next time ?
Misha, may you find the wine you're looking for ;)
Peter, you are the man !
Karen, start up the ice machine !!
Dirk, you are one of a kind :D
Jeannine -- yes, I'm still receiving Sierra Woman -- wtf ??
Lisa, I hope when you get back from this weekend you will have become a ropegun again !

And all the others who don't or rarely visit this site anymore -- you know how I feel.

Hey Rob, thanks for the wishes! Family is doing well and my mountain adventures may be put temporarily (hopefully) on hold, but I still find time to read about climbs my friends do. I'm happy to see you do all the climbing and enjoy your photos. Looks like it's been a good year for you. Glad you got to do the West Ridge of Conness!
Your recovery has been amazing and I'm sure that it will inspire many of those who may be going through similar experience.
Hopefully some day I will be able to keep up with you

Thanks Rob! We could easily say the same to you -- that you deserve all the happiness in the world -- you've worked so hard to acheive it. My hat is always off to you. :D

Seriously, from a mostly lurker, llama on.

You're a singular kind of guy yourself, Rob. Keep on pushing yourself- the strides you've made are impressive. Keep on striving for more- what I'd consider a major reason for your success thus far (I guess a general climbing mantra in general, although the extent to which you've executed it is remarkable).
