That's what I was thinking of the canyon, would have to head as far south as Lone Pine to avoid the nuking, eh?

These are all from 2/25. Of course, things have changed already since then but it should give ya an idea which lines are in as of two days ago.

It was a "who's who" of Summitpost out at LVC today. And excellent climbing.

Respect. I know how it is. I'm the one with the red osprey pack and viper tools in the photo above.

Thanks Scott & Kristina,

Nice meeting you guys. 5hrs drive then broke trail half way up the road and then up the trail, climb ice until dark, Nicely's for dinner, then 5 hr drive home!!!! That is commitment! or you two should be committed! :P

Glad you made it back in one piece.

Just practicing for Peru, Wes! great meeting you guys as well! We'll be back w/e of the 12-14th; join!

anyway, it's really all SMG's fault; a few mild pitches on ice with Jed and i'm hooked. I can't decide whether to send him a set of screws as a thank-you or a bill for my gasoline :)

Thanks for slogging in and breaking trail guys :)

Headed in yesterday with Frank and had a great time climbing. Led my first WI3 in LVC since 2007. Highly recommend Frank as a climbing partner -- safe, smart, good company and eager to learn.

Good times seeing Jed again and also met Vic. We saw Chief's rig in the parking lot, but I hadn't brought any extra llama stickers :( Maybe next time ;) Great to see the east side crew represent 8)

everything is in (incl. BH), trail packed. Too warm, get in while you can.

Ugh. What are the odds that things will be decent in the last week of march??
