JTree / Yosemite Valley in Spring

I realize that this is most likely not the most opportune time to be climbing due to the wet season but i am forced to utilize this time window to check out the area. Any areas in the valley or jtree that are known to be fairly reliable (stay dry) ? I would even take some suggestions on some nice hikes within the valley. Being that i have never been to either place i would like to get some climbing in as well as just exploreing the area and getting the full experience.

Better yet if anyone has any time @ the end of march / begining of april to show me around i'll provide the beer!

Joshua Tree is usually perfect in April. All those really nice north facing routes we avoid all winter long because they are cold are nice then. And as a bonus this winter has been very wet out there with more to come, so the flower bloom promises to be special.

You'll buy the beers?

I have expensive tastes you know... but then I am about quality over quantity so it all comes out in the end.

Check out the new Pataguch catalogue. Featuring the "Stone Masters." Lots of JT and Yosemite shots.
For what it's worth, the latest I've been to JT is the end of March, and it was very nice. I'd imagine April/May to be the same.

Hey, JT is very nice in April....

You bring good beer, in large quantities, and let me drink.

With an offer like that on the table, you name your root and I will lead it.

Let us know when this JT BeerFest is going down.

ok
