Based on what it looked like a couple weeks ago, snow approach, sunny rock on the south side. Maybe some wet cracks, but Open Book, L and R Ski Track, etc are in great position and probably OK. Let us know what you find!

Firm consolidated snow with boot track on the approach (did not need crampons or snowshoes). S facing routes are dry. Very minor run-off on the friction descent but easily avoidable.

A few notes for those considering Tahquitz for the upcoming long weekend. Scrambled up the NE Rib this morning, came down the normal descent via Lunch Rock.

Tahquitz Rock is almost completely dry and that includes the North side routes. The approach from Ernie Maxwell Trail is dry. Temps are in very low 60s. The friction descent is also 100% dry. The North Gully descent is still snowed in, no chance to get down that way yet. It might be better in a week or so.

The conditions look good for the Memorial Day weekend.
