Well these aren't in the immediate vicinity and do involve a bit more dirt road driving, but wiht a week shouldn't be a problem.
If you drive all the way thru past Tea Kettle junction and up thru hidden valley to get to the 190 .. along the way is Hunter Mountain. It's a real easy hike with great views.
Or, if you head north from Ubehebe Crater to crankshaft junction and head west up into the Last Chance range, both Sandy Peak and Last Chance Mountain provide enjoyable hikes with excellent views
Another one I haven't done, but looks really nice is Corridor Canyon. This leaves the racetrack road a bit past tea kettle junction. There's an interesting loop I've been considering that would climb up warm and cameo points which overlook Saline Valley. Although I don't know how doable this is in conjunction with Corridor Canyon. I've never come across any TRs describing this? Anybody know?
EDIT: Tin Mt and Dry Mt probably both top in quality anything I mentioned though
