Any idea if the hourglass will remain in shape till about half of June? With the amount of snow there is, I'm guessing it should?

Yeah we went back there last year at about the same time and started here. Road was mostly clear then but the gate was closed. So no big deal.
Yes should be a great time love the area (esp when there aren't skeeters). Will being going up the Hourglass and on to Dade. Looking forward to it...
In retrospect, the hardpack will actually cut down on the approach times.
Two years ago, I actually cut my approach time to the same locale ya'll are headed for, in order to solo the Petit Griffon, by almost an entire hour.
Have fun dude... the Hourglass will be in awesome shape early in the morning!!!!
