hey ... has anyone been up to yosemite lately? was looking at a trip the last weekend of the month, was hoping to hit up the 4 mile trail to panoramic and down the half dome trail. any word on snow would be great or how far glacier point road is open? (was looking at trails off the road as backup)
if these trails are still looking bad, any thoughts for trails during the time mentioned above.

I was in the valley last weekend, hope to be up there this coming weekend and the next.

Lower elevations are clear, but there's still a lot up above 6,000 or so, especially on the north facing stuff. The snow is still coming down regularly, a good dump every week.

I bet you'll still hit a lot of it heading up the 4-mile, the upper switchbacks looked white. Up to Nevada Falls is clear but you'd hit a bunch above that.

I may head up one of the south facing trails the weekend you mention. Unless anything changes drastically, I'll lug shoeshoes to wander around the top. Until then keeping an eye on the Tuolumne Report, which should be here:

I was up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail a few weeks ago, and I suppose things are different now, but there was a pretty good amount of snow near the top. On the rim, there was lots of snow, a lot more than last year. We were able to follow foot tracks up to Yosemite Point, but that was early, while the snow was still solid. We thought about Eagle Peak, but the trail there was completely snowed over with no tracks or anything...It would probably require snowshoes. Of course, this was two weeks ago.

As of today, Yosemite is glorious. There's snow in the high country from the recent dump, but most all the stuff in the lower canyon (Arch Rock, Cookie, Pat and Jack, Reed's) is drying out quickly.

By the time the weekend rolls around, most of the Valley climbs should be dried out as well.

In El Portal, where I am, its absolutely perfect!!!

Why wait on clean transportation when you can get out and enjoy the world before we destoy it? It wouldn't do much good anyway as long as I'm driving my Tacoma up to 600 miles in a weekend.
