It's been a long time since I've stayed at a motel in Bishop. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I usually stay @ The Trees on W. Line across from the school. No pool, but if you just need a room to crash it does the trick.

I stayed at the Bishop Village Motel earlier this year. It's a short walk from everything, but not on 395, so it's also quiet.

Drive up the grade another 35 minutes and stay here. You will never forget this awesome and very unique hide away. It is right up the street from my home and it is very special. Breakfast at Tom's Place before ya head up to Rock Creek is really the shnizits, way beyond Jacks'.

You didn't specify whether a B&B would work but I spent some time at the Chalfant House a couple of winters back while skiing the Whites and East Side and can give it a 2-thumbs up:

Thanks all! Trees was the cheapest so we're going that route.

Hefe, Some family is in from out of town and we're going to spend the weekend in the Mammoth/June area. Just need a room for one night in bishop since we will be leaving after work Thursday and want to hit Schatz up for a stockpile of shite for the weekend.

I hear ya on Tom's place! One of the best dinners I've ever had was there last summer. I used to love Jack's, but the food is not the same as it was 20ish years ago. The Stove!!!

The Ramada isn't bad - not too expensive and fairly clean.
