Looking for any information on the trail that leaves the East Lake/Lake Reflection trail a little more than half way between the two lakes..it heads East and goes to three lakes and up to the North side of Harrison Pass. Has anyone been on this trail that could tell me anything about it....it shows these three lakes and the trail very good on the Mount Brewer 7.5 quad map.
Thanks for any info!

Speaking from personal experience it's easy to miss. About three or four years ago I headed toward Reflection with the intent of taking that trail. On the topo, it shows a trail cutting off east before (north of) the drainage from those lakes. I don't have the map in front of me but I recall that the first and only named lake is Golden Bear Lake.

I walked past the use trail or didn't see it and tried just hiking straight upslope on the south side of that drainage, got frustrated and just booked down to Reflection for a couple nights (see my profile image). I didn't try to find it on the hike out since I no longer had the time to make the loop I anticipated. I've heard there's lots of talus and boulders heading up to Harrison, but that's about all I know. I have to think someone like Bob Burd could give you some better info.

Last August I came over the saddle between Deerhorn and Stanford, went around the uppermost of the three lakes and tried to pick up the trail shown on the map to go up to Harrison Pass. There was no trail going up to the pass, just lots of talus, scree and loose sand, hard snow in the upper part of the chute. With the amount of snow we had this season, crampons and axe could be necessary until late summer.

Fatdad...Thank you...good info about how easy it could be to miss..yes I see the trail cuts off North of that drainage like right before it and even follows it up a ways...hopefully that will be still draining from those lakes.

Pete I will try to find the picture on your website..I would love to see it.

Michael...that upper lake you went around is the one I most want to see...I won't be going up Harrison pass..I can imagine there will be a lot of snow on that side until late summer.

Thank you all so much...very helpful to me.
