Post 'em here as you find out!

I'm particularly interested in the Rock Creek road--how high can we likely go not this weekend, but next? Chief's been quiet lately, hope he pipes up!

As of yesterday March 31 Highway 168 is still gated at Aspendell.

Glacier Lodge Road out of Big Pine is clear of snow all the way to roads end but is closed to cars just below Lower Sage campground (about 1.75 miles from roads end or 1.25 miles below the overnight parking). The overnight lot is still under a foot to two feet of snow.

The Rock Creek road is only open to East Fork campground, that's about 5 miles up the canyon.

Might be open for the fishing opener April 30th. That was the timing last year anyway

East Fork campground is at nearly 9000ft! Awesome. It's 90 minutes of road skiing from there to the TH.

The EAST FORK SNO-PARK is still as far up as one can drive as of two days ago. That is also the lower EF CG entrance which is still locked. You must park at the SNO-PARK Parking area and pay the fee or it will get towed by RC Lodge who own and operate the SNO-PARK and groom the road. I know the owner very well as I do P/T work for him in the late spring and worked with him on the Hill when he coached for the local Masters Ski Team. Very nice guy but he is a hardcore born and raised local running a business.

Thanks Chief! Yeah, we probably would have gotten towed if you didn't say that...

Any idea if the road will be plowed or driveable by Saturday morning? If not, Sunday?

I heard at Wilson's yesterday that they are working on plowing it to the pack station. Don't know how the incoming storm might throw off plans...

I will talk to my neighbor this afternoon after work as to the area (Mono County) road plowing schedule. He is the plow driver. Will post when I get the goods from the mules mouth himself.

Next Monday, if the weather cooperates, Mono County (my neighbor) will begin the work to clean up RC Road up to the Oack Station. At least to RC Lake in preparations for Opener in three weeks.

I too am very interested as it is time to do my three times a week ride up to Mos Flat PL. I passed this on to my neighbor and he appeared to be quite certain that the road should be cleaned up by next weekend. Again if the weather cooperates. Forecast is showing that strong ridging will begin next Tuesday. If this indeed occurs, than all will be good.

I will post when the work has begun and completed.
