2 permits available Whitney N. Fork May 20-23
Posted: Sun May 15, 2011 4:36 amI have two permits for the North Fork of Lone Pine Creek on Mt. Whitney, entry date Fri May 20, exit May 23. This is for two people for three nights.
I will not be able to use them so I will be calling the office Tuesday to release them. The reservable quota for this trailhead is six. This is the trailhead for most of the technical routes on Whitney and Russell. I'd like to make sure they don't go to waste.
I will be away tomorrow and Monday, returning Monday night. If someone would like to pick these up, drop me a member-to-member email and I can let you know when the permits are released. Thanks.
