Convict Creek and Laurel Mountain conditions

Here are a few shots from today, July 10. The popular Northeast Gully route is still covered by snow on the bottom half of the route, and the upper half is sporting a pretty good stream.
Here is a shot looking up the gully.
Here is the stream crossing further up the canyon. There is definitely some potential for adventure here. The water is running with some real force. I would not recommend the crossing for at least a couple weeks.
The flowers are going crazy about a mile past the lake, and we saw more bald eagles than mosquitoes.
