Anyone know how the conditions are currently in this area? Especially around Rae Lakes and Glen Pass?

I just came out of Rae Lakes. There's still a lot of snow on the north side of Glen Pass, but it's soft enough by mid-morning that you don't need axe and 'pons. The skeeters are just starting to wake up. I'll put up some photos in a bit.

Saturday I hiked over Kearsarge Pass, cross country to Mt Rixford's south slope then traversed to Gould. Encountered short sections of snow on the trail to Kearsarge and on the traverse below Rixford summit but otherwise was dry the entire way since it was mostly on southern aspects. Should have left the ice ax at the car!
