Not much of a trail report and not too recent but last Friday 11/11/11 I ran from my place in Aspendell up the road (hwy 168/N. Fork Rd.) to the trailhead. The road ranged from completely dry to snow and ice patches in shady areas. I would have bet pretty easy travel up the trail from the actual trailhead for at least another mile or two. We got about 6" of snow in Aspendell that evening followed by a sunny afternoon.

Do you think it will be reletivly easy travel in the backcountry? AKA boot pack and /or trail. I am planning a trip out of North Lake and just want to try to get menatlly prepared for whatever is in store. If anyone else can give some feedback that would be cool, pictures would be cooler! Thanks.
