I always check the weather befor heading out, though we all know how reliable the weather reports are for higher altitudes. Best to be prepared.

I'm a northman, my nternal thermostat runs warm most of the time. If it's 0 deg or warmer, my 0 deg bag will be too warm for me. imagine being stripped down to your undies to get a comfy sleep temp.... then having to crawl outta that bastard at 3am to get dressed in a 15 deg tent. I suppose it's easier than making coffee!
