I'm a little new to this so please excuse me if I use incorrect terminology. I guess that's a part of my question, really.

I made a first attempt of the West Face Gully on Shasta a couple of weeks ago and I'm going back next weekend for a second attempt. I really enjoyed it.

Any suggestions on resources for finding similar climbs elsewhere in California? By similar I mean moderate to steep snow, no vertical water ice and generally not too technical (let's say up to PD+).

All the books I find on Google and Amazon seem to give vertical water ice routes or long class 3/4/5 mountaineering rock routes. While I'm interested in doing these things eventually, I would really like to do more snow.

This website is one of your best resources. There are loads of ways to find more stuff you might like. Here's just one of many:
Go to the Summit Log for the route of peak you climbed (Shasta, or West Face Gully). Find an entry that seems to 'speak your language'. Read the poster's profile and see what other climbs they have done. Investigate those climbs.
