Independence and University Peak - Snow?
Posted: Thu Jun 28, 2012 2:16 amI'm heading up to Onion valley tomorrow and planning on hitting University and Independence peaks ... anyone know if there's snow still hanging around? Ice axe / crampons needed? I'll be keeping it class 3/4 as this is a solo trip. If all goes well I'll hit the Dragon Peak to Gould traverse as well.
